Youth
Camps are held each summer at the Mission property located on Cider Mill Rd off
of Howardsville Turnpike between Stuarts Draft and Sherando. Camps begin with
Primaries, Juniors and teens the
first full week in July.
These camps offer a wide variety of activities for
these young people, including Swimming, Volleyball, Softball, Fishing,
Paddle-Boating, Miniature Golf, Watersports, Hiking, Bike Trails and many other
activities. We have separate dorms for boys and girls and well-trained
Christian counselors for each age group. They will be fed 3 square meals per
day all of which is included in the $50.00 (that's all!?) camp registration fee. There is
a concession stand with all kinds of food, drink and snacks that can be
purchased separately for a very reasonable price.
The most important aspect of these camps is the
preaching that the young people will hear throughout the week. There are
morning and evening services as well as a few special services just for them.
We have preachers and speakers that will minister to their respective age
groups with messages that will convict and reprove with all longsuffering and
doctrine. Many have found true salvation through these camps and most have
eternal impressions left on them when they leave.
Get your kids out of the world for a week of
spiritual influence and atmosphere at Midway Youth Camps. It may be the most
important week they ever had!
We do have strict rules that absolutely must be
followed to ensure and maintain a Christian and a safe atmosphere as well as
uphold true Christian standards. Soon we will post a list of rules and
regulations as well as a registration form you can print and turn in.
